Founded by Roberto Kai Hegeler, OONOCO COLLECTION LTD is a design-driven innovation studio based in Taipei, Taiwan. We are the creative force behind the high-performance cycling brands PARENTESI and RAYDN, and we offer select consulting services in advanced product design, engineering, and brand development for the cycling industry and beyond.
OONOCO exists at the intersection of technical precision and emotional design — where material science, aesthetics, and user experience are treated as one continuous system. We believe in timeless design, purpose-driven engineering, and the power of sport to shape character and community.

Roberto Kai Hegeler
Dipl. Ing. (MSc in Applied Physics)
Roberto is a German-born engineer and creative director with a Master’s degree in Applied Physics. His career bridges science, engineering, and design, with over 30 years of experience in the creative industry and a lifelong immersion in cycling, both as a racer and builder.
He began his career in applied science, working in laboratories in Germany and Switzerland. Later, he transitioned into creative leadership, working as an Art Director and Creative Director in corporate identity, fashion consulting, and photography for international campaigns.
After the 2008 financial crisis, Roberto pivoted into automotive 3D visualization, and became a managing partner of CGI Backgrounds Inc., a stock photography and HDRi platform serving nearly every major car OEM worldwide.
In 2018, he relocated to Shenzhen, and to Taipei in 2020. There, his lifelong passion for cycling reemerged professionally, leading to consulting work with bike brands in China on engineering, product development and brand identity.
In 2019, he founded OONOCO COLLECTION LTD, a design and innovation studio based in Taipei.
In 2023, he launched two premium cycling brands: PARENTESI & RAYDN
